Motorcyclist Injured in Apple Valley Crash on Dale Evans Parkway Near Otoe Road
APPLE VALLEY, CA (July 28, 2021) – A motorcyclist was airlifted after a crash on Dale Evans Parkway in Apple Valley.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the accident took place on Tuesday night. Officers reported the wreck on July 27 at about 8:16 p.m.
The incident happened when a male motorcycle rider was waiting to turn into a driveway from Dale Evans Parkway in Apple Valley.
For an unknown reason, a white 1992 Dodge Stealth slammed into the rear of the motorcyclist. Deputies said the two crashed in the 16200 block of Dale Evans Parkway, north of Otoe Road.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
The Dodge obtained extensive damage to its front driver side bumper and wheel. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the rider hurt as a result of the collision.
An air ambulance took him to the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries. Officials did not release his name and condition at this time.
Meanwhile, deputies did not mention if the driver of the Dodge sustain any wound following the wreck. Officers forced a stretch of Dale Evans Parkway to shut down after the collision.
The cause of the Apple Valley crash is still under investigation.
