APPLE VALLEY, California (Wednesday, July 15, 2015) – A tractor-trailer truck collided with a pickup truck early this evening on northbound Interstate 15 Freeway at the Blue Mountain off-ramp, scattering debris across all four lanes of the freeway. The accident occurred at 6:28 p.m. Two additional vehicles stopped in the middle lane and center divide to get out and direct traffic around the accident.
According to the California Highway Patrol the tractor-trailer truck, a purple Peterbuilt with a flatbed loaded with steel, had rolled into the camper truck, which had been towing a boat. At least one person was injured, requiring medical attention and transport by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
