Pedestrian Struck, Killed on Highway 18
APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (Nov. 5, 2024) — A pedestrian was struck and killed early Tuesday morning on Highway 18, just west of Flathead Road in Apple Valley.
The traffic accident occurred around 5:12 a.m. on November 5th, according to Victor Valley News Group.
Paramedics responded and located the pedestrian down in the roadway and a red-Chevrolet sedan with front-end damage.
Emergency crews performed life-saving measures on the person, but they died at the scene.
Police closed down the westbound lanes of Highway 18 between Flathead Road and Dale Evans Parkway to investigate the cause of the crash.
