1 Killed, 2 Hurt in Apple Valley Car Crash
APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (Feb. 4, 2019) — A 40-year-old Apple Valley woman died late Sunday night in a crash on Bear Valley Road.
The crash took place about 7:23 p.m. at the intersection of Bear Valley and Joshua roads, according to a report by San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials.
The drivers of red Dodge Ram pickup truck and a silver Chevrolet Malibu sedan were involved. Police say the pickup truck was heading eastbound on Bear Valley Road and the Chevrolet was traveling in the same direction on the shoulder of Bear Valley Road.
At some point, the driver in the Malibu made a U-turn into the roadway directly in front of the truck. The pickup was couldn’t stop in time and crashed into the driver’s side of the Chevrolet, authorities said.
