Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Aptos Crash on Pleasant Valley Road
APTOS, CA (October 1, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash on Pleasant Valley Road in Aptos.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the wreck took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the accident at about 1:44 p.m.
CHP said a male motorcycle rider and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in Aptos. The two crashed at 423 Pleasant Valley Road.
Collision Near Freedom Boulevard
The bike ended up with a damaged front-end upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Freedom Boulevard.
Medical personnel found the motorcyclist who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the patient to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the other driver sustained any injury or if they stopped following the wreck.
Officers forced a stretch of Pleasant Valley Road to shut down after the collision. The cause of the Aptos crash still under investigation.
