2 Children Injured in Collision at Huntington Drive and Sunset Boulevard Friday
Arcadia, CA (May 29, 2021) – Two juveniles suffered injuries following a car accident in the area of Huntington Drive and Sunset Boulevard Friday night.
Police Chase Ends in Car Accident in Arcadia, May 28
According to Pasadena Now, a 28-year-old woman was behind the wheel of a vehicle traveling in Pasadena. For reasons still unclear, police pursued the vehicle. The chase reached Pasadena, officials said.
When the vehicle approached the intersection of Huntington and Sunset, the woman lost control of the car and hit a curb. The vehicle continued moving and struck a fire hydrant, and a small wall. First responders found the car overturned.
Our sources indicated a 1-year-old passenger was ejected from the car. Paramedics rendered aid to the child, then rushed them to a hospital for treatment. Medical personnel said they also transported a 2-year-old child to the hospital with moderate injuries.
The relationship of the female driver, and the two juveniles remained unknown at this time.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate at this time several factors surrounding the car accident in Arcadia.
