1 Killed in Arcadia Crash on Eastbound 210 Freeway at Santa Anita Avenue
ARCADIA, CA (May 29, 2022) – A crash killed at least one person on the 210 Freeway and Santa Anita Avenue in Arcadia.
According to an article published by the KTLA News, the tragic accident took place early Sunday. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 3:30 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol said multiple vehicles, including a semi-truck, collided for an unknown reason in Arcadia. They crashed on the eastbound 210 Freeway at Santa Anita Avenue.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
One of the cars involved, a black sedan, rolled over and landed on its roof due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
They confirmed that one individual died as a result of the incident. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the eastbound lanes of the 210 Freeway to shut down near Santa Anita following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Arcadia crash is still under investigation.
