Multi-Vehicle Crash on Marconi Avenue
ARDEN ARCADE, Calif. (Feb. 7, 2024) – A three-vehicle car accident in Arden Arcade happened Wednesday morning on Marconi Avenue in Sacramento County.
Authorities reported one of the motorists involved was allegedly speeding and collided with two other vehicles at around 10:54 a.m. on Feb. 7th between 3718 and 3725 Marconi Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a black Toyota Camry sedan was attempting to exit a driveway on Marconi Avenue and was waiting in the center lane. That’s when an oncoming driver in a black Toyota Sienna van crashed into the first car as well as a second car.
The two cars wound up on the grass near an apartment complex and one struck a pole.
Paramedics responded and located the driver from the van with major injuries. The two other motorists also had injuries, but they were considered minor.
All three drivers were transported to a hospital for further treatment. Meanwhile, two of the vehicles had major front-end damage and required tow trucks.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the collision.
