1 Seriously Injured in Arden-Arcade Crash at Howe Avenue and Arden Way
ARDEN-ARCADE, CA (August 24, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Howe Avenue and Arden Way in Arden-Arcade.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the wreck took place on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the accident shortly after 1:30 p.m.
CHP said a gray Dodge Charger, a green Chevrolet pickup truck and two more vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Arden-Arcade.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
All four crashed at the intersection of Howe Avenue and Arden Way. The Chevrolet pickup caught fire and obtained major front-end damage upon impact.
The incident log added that one of the cars involved then rolled over. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and extricated one trapped occupant from the wreckage.
Medical personnel soon took the rescued patient to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Howe Avenue and Arden Way to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Arden-Arcade crash is still under investigation.
