Arden-Arcade: Fatal Bicycle, Motorcycle Accident at El Camino and Darwin

1 Killed in Collision at El Camino Avenue and Darwin Street

Arden-Arcade, CA (October 9, 2022) – One person died following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of El Camino Avenue and Darwin Street.

According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a man riding a motorcycle collided with a bicyclist at the intersection in Arden-Arcade. Earlier reports indicated the crash took place Sunday evening.

Deadly Traffic Crash in Arden-Arcade

Emergency crews arrived at the location shortly after 9:09 p.m. First responders found one person unconscious. Despite life-saving measures performed by paramedics, the victim sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.

No immediate information was available whether the fatal victim was the motorcyclist, or the bicyclist.

Several factors surrounding the incident have not been revealed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly accident that happened at El Camino Avenue and Darwin Street in Arden-Arcade.
