Pedestrian Killed in Arden-Arcade Crash at Arden Way and Howe Avenue
ARDEN-ARCADE, CA (June 5, 2021) – A pedestrian was killed after an accident at Arden Way and Howe Avenue in Arden-Arcade.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the incident took place on Saturday night. Officers reported the crash shortly after 10 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Arden-Arcade. The driver hit the person at the intersection of Arden Way and Howe Avenue.
Victim Hit by Vehicle in Arden-Arcade
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Alta Alden Expressway and Exposition Boulevard. They confirmed that the victim died as a result of the collision.
The name of the deceased party remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, police did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the person.
Officials forced the area of Arden Way and Howe Avenue to shut down following the collision. The cause of the fatal Arden-Arcade pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
