Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Arden-Arcade Crash at El Camino and St Mathews
ARDEN-ARCADE, CA (July 10, 2022) – A crash left a motorcyclist seriously injured at El Camino Avenue and St Mathews Drive in Arden-Arcade.
A California Highway Patrol dispatch said the wreck took place last week on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the collision at about 3:11 p.m.
The incident happened on July 2 when the motorcycle rider and a van collided for an unknown reason in Arden-Arcade. The two crashed at the intersection of El Camino Avenue and St Mathews Drive.
Motorcycle and Van Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Watt Avenue. They found the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries as a result of the accident.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the van stopped or stayed at the site following the collision. Officers forced the area of El Camino and St Mathews to shut down after the wreck.
The cause of the Arden-Arcade crash is still under investigation.
