Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Arden-Arcade Accident on Ethan Way
ARDEN-ARCADE, CA (May 23, 2021) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after an accident on Ethan Way in Arden-Arcade.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the incident took place on Sunday morning. Officers reported the crash shortly after 8 a.m.
CHP said a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Arden-Arcade. The driver hit the person at 1830 Ethan Way near Alta Alden Expressway.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They found the victim who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the wounded party to the UC Davis Medical Center for treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the victim. Officers forced the southbound lanes of Ethan Way to shut down following the crash.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Arden-Arcade pedestrian collision.
