4 Seriously Injured in Arleta Crash on Canterbury Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (April 16, 2021) – Several were seriously injured after a car crash along Canterbury Avenue in the Arleta neighborhood.
The Los Angeles Fire Department received a call about the accident on Friday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 10 p.m.
According to their report posted online, multiple vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed in the 9200 block of North Canterbury Avenue in Arleta.
Multi-Car Collision Near Osborne Street
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and then extricated at least one trapped person from the wreckage. A total of four people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
LAFD said two patients sustained serious injuries while the other two suffered moderate injuries upon impact. Medical personnel rushed them to a local hospital for treatment.
Officials did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced the road near Osborne Street to close following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Arleta crash.
