Man Hit and Killed by Vehicles Near Hollywood Freeway

Arleta, CA (June 11, 2022) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred on Interstate 5, also known as Golden State Freeway.

According to My News LA, multiple vehicles struck a man in the southbound side of I-5. The horrible crash took place in the area near Hollywood (170) Freeway. At this time, the exact number of cars involved in the incident have not been revealed thus far.

Earlier reports indicated the pedestrian suffered fatal injuries as a result of the collision. Responding paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after 10 p.m., and sadly pronounced the victim dead. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.

Detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening. They continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly accident on 5 Freeway in Arleta.
