Armando Coronell, 29, Injured in Pedestrian Hit-and-run Crash
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (August 31, 2017) — Pedestrian Armando Coronell, 29, was struck by a car Thursday morning as he walked on Madison Street, just south of East Belle Terrace, according to Bakersfield Now.
The major injury collision took place early this morning, but the time was not noted in the report. The victim had been walking on Madison Street when the collision occurred.
Coronell was taken to a hospital to be treated for major injuries.
The California Highway Patrol is heading up the investigation to locate the suspected hit-and-run motorist.
The crash remains under investigation by police who are attempting to identify the suspect who fled.
