1 Hospitalized After Collision on Alpine State Highway
Arnold, CA (March 11, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic crash that occurred on State Route 4, also known as Alpine State Highway.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a car accident took place on the highway near Poison Spring Friday afternoon. The exact number of vehicles involved in the collision have not been revealed thus far.
Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after 4:04 p.m. When rescue teams arrived, they found a cargo van rolled approximately 50 feet down the embankment.

The CHP log mentioned one person suffered major trauma as a result of the wreck. An ambulance transported the patient to the hospital for treatment of severe injuries to their leg. Personal information on the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
At this time, detectives continue to work to determine exactly how and why the car accident happened on State Route 4 in Arnold.
