1 Injured in Arnold Crash on Highway 4 Near Moran Road
ARNOLD, CA (December 26, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash on Highway 4 near Moran Road in Arnold.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident took place on Sunday morning. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 8 a.m.
The incident happened when two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason in the Arnold area of Calaveras County. They crashed on Highway 4 near Moran Road.
2 Cars Collide
CHP described the cars as a white Ford Explorer and a gray Toyota RAV. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. They then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The report did not release name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, the cause of the Arnold crash is still under investigation.
CHP forced a stretch of Highway 4 near Moran Avenue to shut down for more than an hour following the wreck.
