Arnold Pierce in Wheelchair Fatally Hit by Car on Beach Boulevard
STANTON (August 20, 2017) – A man in a wheelchair was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Beach Boulevard Tuesday, August 15, according to The Orange County Register.
The Orange County Coroner’s office has identified the victim as 63-year-old Arnold Pierce.

As per the article, sheriff’s officials said an Acura and Nissan Murano were both headed south on Beach Boulevard when the Acura came into contact with the Nissan. The driver of the Acura then lost control of the car, drove onto the curb and hit Pierce in his wheelchair.
Pierce was immediately taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange where he later died.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
