2 Men Victims in Fresno County Industrial Accident
LOCATION: Vista Verde Farms, Fresno County
DATE OF INCIDENT: Saturday, January 5th
January 10, 2019- According to ABC News, a deadly industrial accident in the rural farming area of Fresno County was reported over the weekend at the Vista Verde Farms.
According to officials, the incident took place around 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
Preliminary investigative efforts suggest that the two victims identified as Arnold Torres, 66, and Angel Barajas, 31, were trapped and crushed underneath the arm of an almond shaker after the machine experienced a malfunction.
Both men tragically lost their lives as they were pronounced dead at the scene.
No further details have been provided at this time as the incident remains under close investigation.
