Arnulfo Rodriguez Jr., 25, Suspect in Fatal Collision on 101 Freeway Monday
Ventura, CA (July 12, 2021) – Police arrested 25-year-old Arnulfo Rodriguez Jr. in relation with a deadly DUI car crash on 101 Freeway early Monday.
The CBS Sacramento reported Arnulfo Rodriguez Jr. was behind the wheel of a 2016 Infinity Q50 traveling south on the freeway in Ventura. When the vehicle approached the Main Street offramp, the driver allowed the car to veer off the roadway. Officials said the automobile ended up rolling down the embankment.

Shortly after 3:30 a.m., emergency teams arrived at the location. First responders found at the scene one passenger dead, and another passenger injured.
Meanwhile, the driver, Arnulfo Rodriguez Jr., reportedly escaped death with injuries. Authorities said the driver showed signs of intoxication at the time of the collision. For this reason, police arrested the man on suspicion of driving under the influence and for felony gross vehicular manslaughter.
Further investigation on the case is underway.
