2-Vehicle Car Accident on State Route 129
AROMAS, Calif. (August 23, 2023) — A fiery, head-on crash in Aromas happened Wednesday morning on Highway 129 also known as Riverside Road near Watsonville.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 5:41 a.m. on August 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A diesel truck reportedly collided with another vehicle before the truck caught on fire with at least one person trapped. The CHP report stated a woman managed to get out of it.
Paramedics responded to help those injured in the collision and tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash in Aromas on Highway 129.
