Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Aromas Crash at Carpenteria and San Juan
AROMAS (June 14, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a traffic collision in the area of Carpenteria and San Juan roads Thursday afternoon.
A motorcycle and a black Mercedes 4-door sedan collided for an unknown reason at the intersection of Carpenteria and San Juan roads on June 13.
According to California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the car sustained major front-end damage upon impact. The accident was reported at approximately 4:05 p.m. near Highway 101.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the rider lying in the roadway and suffering from major injuries as a result of the crash.
The patient was then airlifted to the hospital to be treated for cracked pelvis and obstructed airway. The name and condition of the wounded party at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, the westbound lane was forced to briefly shut down following the wreck. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the incident.
