2-Vehicle Collision on State Route 1

ARROYO GRANDE, Calif. (August 22, 2023) — An Arroyo Grande crash happened Tuesday morning on Highway 1 at Hillview Place.

The collision occurred about 9:21 a.m. on August 22nd, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.

The drivers of a white Ford Mustang and a black Toyota Tacoma pickup truck collided due to unknown circumstances at the Arroyo Grande intersection. The vehicles were blocking both lanes and at least one person suffered injuries.

Paramedics responded to help those hurt in the crash, but the injuries were considered minor.

Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the damaged vehicles from the roadway.

Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Arroyo Grande crash on Highway 1.
