Arthur Sanchez Motorcyclist Killed in Palmdale Crash
PALMDALE (Sept. 17, 2018) – Arthur Sanchez, 58, died Saturday afternoon when his motorcycle collided with a vehicle on 35th Street East, according to The Antelope Valley Times.
The accident took place on September 15 at around 3:47 p.m., just north of Avenue Q-10.
The Palmdale Sheriff’s Station said Sanchez was traveling southbound on 35th Street East in the No. 1 lane and at the same time a driver in a Ford Escape was headed south.
The driver in the Ford attempted to make a U-turn from the No. 2 lane in front of the motorcyclist and caused the two vehicles to crash.
Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and pronounced the rider dead upon impact.
The driver in the Ford Escape was injured and transported to Palmdale Regional Medical Center.
Police are investigating the crash. Witnesses are asked to contact the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station at 661-272-2400.

The collision remains under investigation by police, but it appears that the driver in the Ford Escape is going to be held responsible for this man’s death.
