Arturo Quevedo, 41, Killed in Santa Ana Hit-and-Run on Fairview Street
SANTA ANA, CA (November 6, 2021) – Arturo Quevedo was killed after a hit-and-run crash on Fairview Street in Santa Ana.
The coroner’s office identified the 41-year-old Santa Ana man as the victim of the fatal collision which took place on Friday.
The incident happened when Arturo Quevedo was in the northbound lanes of South Fairview Street mid-block in Santa Ana. Police said for an unknown reason, three vehicles struck him in the 800 block of the road.
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived, between McFadden Avenue and Highland Street. The victim ended up left lying on the ground and suffering from serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Pedestrian Hit by Multiple Vehicles
Arturo Quevedo died at the scene of the accident. The CBS Los Angeles and My News LA wrote that the accident occurred on November 5 at about 1:20 a.m.
Meanwhile, police described the three cars involved as an early 2000s Mercedes-Benz sedan, a late-model Hyundai and a Toyota Corolla.
The motorist in the Toyota stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the man. The drivers of the Mercedes and Hyundai did not stop to render aid and fled the area.
Officers are still searching for the hit-and-run drivers who fatally injured Arturo Quevedo. The cause of the Santa Ana crash is still under investigation.
