Fatal Pedestrian Accident Eighth Street Koreantown
LOS ANGELES, California (August 16, 2017) — Arturo Quintas, 46, of Los Angeles was struck by a car and killed Wednesday morning in Koreatown, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The fatal crash took place about 5:50 a.m. this morning in the 3300 block of West Eighth Street, police said.
Quintas was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, but he died of his injuries.
The motorist who struck Quintas stopped and remained at the scene where he was questioned by police, however, the person was not arrested or cited.
The cause of the collision and liability for this man’s death is under investigation by police.
Investigation into Fatal Crash
As police investigate this collision to determine liability, the family and loved ones of the victim are hoping to find answers. There are certainly many questions such as who had the right-of-way, were any traffic violations made by the driver, was alcohol or drugs involved?
