Pedestrian Dies in Hit-and-Run Collision at East Imperial Highway and Compton Avenue
Willowbrook, CA (August 27, 2022) – Arturo Rivera, a 27-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of East Imperial Highway and Compton Avenue.
According to My News LA, a vehicle struck an individual at the intersection near the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway in Willowbrook. The crash took place Tuesday around 1:56 a.m.

Responding paramedics found the pedestrian lying on the ground. Medical personnel immediately rendered aid to the victim. Sadly, the man succumbed to his injuries and passed away. The coroner’s office later identified the deceased as Arturo Rivera, of Bellflower.
The article published online mentioned the driver involved in the collision fled the scene. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Further investigation is ongoing on the deadly accident that happened at East Imperial Highway and Compton Avenue in Willowbrook.
