Arturo Ramirez Valencia, 21, Killed in Fiery Crash on Grant Line Road
DATE OF ACCIDENT: Saturday, December 29th
January 1, 2019 – 21-year-old Arturo Ramirez Valencia has been identified Monday by the San Joaquin County Coroner’s Office as one of the fatal victims in a fiery car crash on Grant Line Road Saturday evening.
According to Recordnet, Valencia was one of the six occupants–all between the ages of 15 to 22 and all Tracy residents, in the white Dodge Charger that crashed on the Grant Line, just east of MacArthur Drive.
The accident left three people killed, officials said. The identities of the other two fatalities remained undisclosed pending notification of next of kin.

Furthermore, a fourth victim in the wreck was reported Sunday to be in critical condition in an area hospital while two additional victims suffered moderate injuries. The names of the patients have not been disclosed thus far.
Officials mentioned preliminary evidence indicated alcohol and speed may have been factors that contributed to the deadly collision. Further investigation on the case is underway.
