1 Seriously Injured in Arvin Crash at Herring Road and South Edison Road
ARVIN, CA (July 16, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Herring Road and Edison Road in Arvin.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the wreck occurred on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the accident at around 2:17 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Arvin. They crashed at the intersection of Herring Road and South Edison Road.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log described the cars involved as a white Ford F-150 pickup truck and a black Toyota RAV4. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment.
Officials did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Herring and Edison roads to shut down following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Arvin crash.
