1 Killed, 1 Injured in Arvin Crash at Sunset Boulevard and Tejon Highway
ARVIN, CA (December 3, 2021) – A car crash killed one person and injured another at Sunset Boulevard and Tejon Highway in Arvin.
According to an article published by the Kern Golden Empire, the tragic accident took place Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 3:15 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason just outside of Arvin. They crashed at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Tejon Highway.
2 Cars Collide
CHP described the cars as a white Ford Mustang and silver Chevy pickup with a trailer. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
They confirmed that one victim died due to the impact of the collision. Another individual ended up hurt as a result of the incident.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Sunset and Tejon to shut down for a time following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Arvin crash is still under investigation.
