A 72-year-old Arvin Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident in Bakersfield
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (July 13, 2018) – A 72-year-old Arvin man is dead after being struck by an SUV last night in east Bakersfield at the intersection of Washington Street and Virginia Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision took place about 10 p.m. between a grey GMC Yukon SUV and the pedestrian.
Paramedics responded and tried to revive the injured man, but sadly he died at the scene.
