Major Injury Collision Near 164th Avenue Offramp
Ashland, CA (March 4, 2022) – A motorcycle rider suffered injuries following a traffic crash that occurred on Interstate 580, also known as MacArthur Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a motorcyclist collided with two other vehicles in the eastbound side of I-580. The make and model of the cars involved in the wreck have not been discussed thus far.

Shortly after 1:15 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found the rider lying on the ground. Paramedics immediately rendered aid to the victim. After the medical assessment, authorities confirmed the motorcyclist sustained major trauma as a result of the wreck.
Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the traffic accident on Interstate 580 in Ashland.
