Ashley Bevers, 65, Killed in Jamul Hit-and-Run on Highway 94
JAMUL (October 7, 2018) – A pedestrian killed after an alleged hit-and-run accident along Campo Road on Friday evening has been identified as Ashley Bevers, according to NBC San Diego.
The 65-year-old Jamul woman was a victim of the tragic crash which occurred in the 13000 block of Campo Road at around 7:18 p.m.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol said Bevers was crossing Campo Road near Jamul Feed & Supply when she was struck by a vehicle.

The car involved, a Toyota Corolla, was going west on Campo when for an unknown reason it hit the victim.
Bevers was left with severe injuries following the collision. She was immediately transported to Scripps Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead. A GoFundMe page has been created to help her family and her funeral expenses.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the male driver of the Corolla initially stopped, exited the vehicle but then went back in and drove away. The motorist was later found and arrested.
