Ashley Stringer, 33, Dies at Hospital After Collision on Highway 132
Stanislaus, CA (May 27, 2021) – Two people, including 33-year-old Ashley Stringer, suffered fatal injuries following a car and truck accident on Highway 132 Thursday morning.
The Modesto Bee reported a 32-year-old man from Las Vegas was behind the wheel of an Acura traveling west on the highway. In the area near Texas Road, the driver apparently pulled into the eastbound lane to pass traffic ahead of him. In the process, the Acura crashed into the rear axle of an eastbound big rig.
The force from the impact caused the Acura to spin uncontrollably. Per article published online, the Acura came to a rest after hitting a second big rig.

Shortly after 6:30 a.m., emergency teams arrived at the site and found the driver and a female passenger ejected from the Acura. Medical personnel sadly pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
Authorities later identified the woman as Ashley Stringer of Henderson, Nevada. Paramedics reportedly rushed Ashley Stringer to a Doctors Medical Center, where she sadly succumbed to her injuries and died.
Officials added a juvenile passenger from the Acura, a 3-year-old girl, escaped death with minor to moderate injuries.
Meanwhile, the two big rig operators appeared unharmed after the incident.
Further investigation on the car crash in Stanislaus County is ongoing.
