SAN FRANCISCO, California (July 15, 2016) – A deadly accident took place in the Bayview neighborhood on Friday afternoon, according to San Francisco Gate.
The incident was reported about 1:30 p.m. on Reuel Court.
As per the article, San Francisco Police Department said a child was struck by a vehicle on Reuel Court. The young patient was immediately transported to a local hospital where he later died.
The victim was identified as Assad Gibson who was playing alone in a van when the vehicle rolled unexpectedly.
His body was reportedly pinned halfway out of the van’s driver’s seat door, which was then shut by a pole in the center of the carport where the car was parked.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
