RIVERSIDE: Hit-and-run Crash on Promenade Avenue at McKinley Street
RIVERSIDE, California — According to a California Highway Patrol dispatch, at least one person was injured following a hit-and-run collision at Promenade Avenue and N. McKinley Street on March 4.
Officers mentioned one party suffered injuries after an alleged hit-and-run driver struck a man at the intersection shortly after 3:00 a.m. Details on the trauma sustained by the victim were not discussed but the man was reportedly taken to a local hospital after the incident. It was not clear if the victim was a pedestrian or a motorist.
At 3:50 a.m., the CHP logged the suspect vehicle was last seen at the area of Las Mercedes Circle and Vaquero Way.
