MORENO VALLEY, California — A hit-and-run collision left at least one person injured on Gilman Springs Road at Highway 79 Monday afternoon.
As per California Highway Patrol group, the accident on March 20 involved an SUV which flipped and landed on its side after the crash.
Emergency crews arrived shortly after 5:13 p.m. and provided treatment to the victims whose names were not released pending next of kin notification.
At 5:21 p.m., CHP officials mentioned a vehicle drove at the scene, picked-up a person, and fled. The occupants on that vehicle were considered the hit-and-run suspects.
Meanwhile, the log also noted the involvement of a Chevrolet Silverado but its role on the crash was unclear.
Investigation is ongoing.
