SYLMAR, California — According to a California Highway Patrol dispatch, a truck-involved collision resulted in fatality on Interstate 210 freeway near Roxford Street Monday afternoon.
The accident on April 3 at 12:07 p.m. involved a Honda Civic and a big rig.
As per the log, the force from the impact ejected one party. It was not immediately clear if the ejected person was from the truck or the smaller vehicle. Further, CHP mentioned a pedestrian was also involved in the accident but their role on the crash was not disclosed.
Paramedics arrived shortly and found one person unconscious. The CHP team logged the accident as a fatal collision but no further details were disclosed on the deceased.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances that led to the fatal crash.
