SACRAMENTO, California — According to a California Highway Patrol dispatch, at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic collision on Highway 99 at 47th Avenue offramp.
On February 27, the CHP team logged at 5:34 p.m. a car accident involving a white big pickup and a dark colored sedan.
The crash between two vehicles on the southbound lanes of the highway caused injuries to one person, officials said. Paramedics continue to check the condition of all parties involved before pronouncing a final statement on the number of victims.
Further, the dispatch mentioned one vehicle was found at the scene emitting smoke from its hood. And another vehicle with major front-end damage.
Investigation is underway due to several factors surrounding the injury crash remain unclear.
