1 Seriously Injured in Car Crash at Sultana Drive and Atwater Jordan Road
ATWATER, CA (June 3, 2021) – A car crash seriously injured at least one person at Sultana Drive and Atwater Jordan Road in Atwater.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:11 p.m.
CHP said two sedans collided for an unknown reason. They crashed at the intersection of Sultana Drive and Atwater Jordan Road.
Collision Near Livingston Thursday
One of the cars involved obtained major front-end damage due to the impact of the collision. The other vehicle went into a canal and came to a stop with major right side damage.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near the Livingston area. They found one individual who ended up hurt as a result of the wreck.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were released.
Meanwhile, CHP forced Atwater Jordan west of Sultana to close following the wreck. Authorities are still determining the cause of the collision.
