ATWATER, California (December 15, 2016) — A person was killed today in a collision at Santa Fe Avenue and North Fox Road, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 9:44 a.m. this morning between Santa Fe Avenue and the train tracks, but the tracks were not blocked. The coroner was sent to the scene of the crash and Merced City Tow was also there to remove a vehicle involved.
There were no further details provided at this time. The report does not indicate how many vehicles were involved.
A full investigation into liability for the crash is underway.
