2 Motorcycle Riders Injured in Crash at Olive and Herman
DATE OF COLLISION: Thursday, October 25th
October 26, 2018 – Two people were injured after their motorcycle collided into another vehicle in the area of Olive Avenue and Herman Street Thursday evening, according to Merced Sun-Star.
Preliminary investigation revealed a 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle was heading south on Herman around 10:30 p.m. For unknown reasons, the motorcycle operator failed to yield at a stop sign in the intersection of Herman and Olive, and ended up slamming into a 2001 Ford Ranger parked on the south curb of Olive.
The motorcycle operator, and the solo passenger were possibly ejected during the impact, officials said. Emergency personnel rushed to the 2200 block of Olive Avenue and rendered aid to both parties who appeared to be seriously injured in the accident.
Major Injury Accident Thursday in Atwater
As per the article, both individuals were transported to local hospitals, where they were listed in critical conditions. The names of the patients have not been disclosed thus far.
