1 Hospitalized After Collision on East Bellevue Road
Atwater, CA (November 27, 2022) – A pedestrian suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on East Bellevue Road, the Merced Sun-Star News reported.
Vehicle Hits Pedestrian in Atwater
Officials said an SUV struck an individual in the 100 block of East Bellevue Road Saturday afternoon. The crash took place around 5:53 p.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found a person down near the center median of the roadway. Responding paramedics rendered first aid to the victim for their injured leg. An ambulance subsequently transferred the victim to a Modesto-area hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver involved in the crash. Detectives handling the case continue to investigate exactly how and why the pedestrian accident happened on East Bellevue Road in Atwater.
