Highway 49 Crash Near Streeter Road in Auburn
AUBURN, Calif. (July 12, 2018) — Two vehicles collided Thursday afternoon in an injury crash on Highway 49, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place near Streeter Road about 1:18 p.m. between a white sedan and a green Toyota Camry. At least one vehicle was badly damaged and airbags were deployed. A witness told 911 operators that the white vehicle caused the collision, but the cause is under investigation by police. Paramedics responded to help those who were hurt, but there were no further details.
Both vehicles were blocking the roadway’s southbound lanes.
