Bicycle Rider Injured in Crash on Highway 49
AUBURN, Calif. (June 30, 2023) — An Auburn bicycle accident happened Friday afternoon at Bell Road and Grass Valley Highway 49 in front of the Wells Fargo bank.
The traffic collision occurred around 2 p.m. on June 30th at the Auburn intersection, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the cyclist suffered minor injuries and they called paramedics to respond to the scene. It’s unknown if the injured rider was taken to a hospital or just treated at the scene.
The motorist involved stopped and cooperated with authorities. There is no further information about what led up to the traffic accident at this time.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Auburn bicycle accident.
