1 Seriously Injured in Auburn Crash at Dry Creek Road and Blue Grass Drive
AUBURN, CA (April 25, 2021) – A car crash seriously injured at least one person at Dry Creek Road and Blue Grass Drive in Auburn.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:43 p.m.
The report said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Auburn. They crashed at the intersection of Dry Creek Road and Blue Grass Drive.
Car Collision Near Highway 49
CHP described the two cars involved as a silver Toyota SUV and a gray Toyota Tacoma. Both sustained major damage upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Highway 49. They found one individual who suffered major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to the Sutter Roseville Medical Center for treatment. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, officers closed the intersection of Dry Creek and Blue Grass in both directions for roughly an hour following the wreck. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Auburn crash.
