Multi-Vehicle Crash at Auburn Intersection
AUBURN, Calif. (Sept. 6, 2022) — A multi-vehicle collision occurred Tuesday afternoon at Grass Valley Highway and Dry Creek Road in Auburn.
The collision happened about 2 p.m. on Sept. 6th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a white Chevrolet van, a white Ford pickup truck and a white Dodge Ram pickup truck collided due to unknown circumstances. The vehicles went down an embankment on the right shoulder. The white van overturned in the ditch and was smoking.
Authorities say the white van was allegedly driving recklessly prior to colliding with the other motorists.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded to help those injured in the Auburn crash on Grass Valley Highway.
Investigators will determine fault for the collision. Tow trucks removed all three vehicles from the scene.
