Skateboarder Injured in Alleged Hit-and-Run Accident at Bell and Quartz Drive
AUBURN (June 5, 2018) – A skateboarder was injured in an alleged hit-and-run collision at the intersection of Bell Road and Quartz Drive Tuesday afternoon.
Juvenile Hit and Injured by Vehicle in Auburn Accident
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a juvenile riding a skateboard was struck by a black sedan in the area at 3:51 p.m.
First responders found the juvenile downed on the ground following the crash. The name of the skater and their condition following the accident was not immediately disclosed.
The CHP logged the incident as a hit-and-run collision but no details were released on the identity of the suspect.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine the exact circumstances that led to the accident.
