Motorcyclist Killed in Bakersfield Crash on East Brundage Lane
BAKERSFIELD, Calif., (June 2, 2021) — Austin Dennis, 26, of Bakersfield, died Saturday morning in a Bakersfield motorcycle accident at Brundage Lane and Madison Street.
Also, the collision happened about 11 a.m. on May 29th as the motorcyclist traveled down East Brundage Lane in east Bakersfield, according to KGET News.
The rider reportedly collided with a truck as it entered the intersection from Madison Street. Police believe the motorcyclist was traveling at high speed and was unable to stop before hitting the truck. The rider was thrown off the bike and the truck reportedly overturned onto its side.
Deadly Bakersfield Motorcycle Crash Austin Dennis Killed
Unfortunately, Austin Dennis suffered fatal injuries in the collision.
Meanwhile, the truck driver had minor injuries and cooperated with the investigation.
Finally, authorities are piecing together evidence and witness statements to determine liability for the death of Austin Dennis.
